Smash Box Eye Shadow Brazilian Bronze $16.00 on smashbox.com
I received this eyeshadow (along with two other samples) for free when I purchased my Studio Skin foundation from their website. This eyeshadow is great! It’s a beautiful bronze color. They actually don’t have this color available on their site so I’m not sure if it’s only an exclusive item or what. All their eyeshadows are great though!
This brow kit is great. The darker brown is actually a cream, so it helps set the brows in place. The lighter color works great over the cream brown or alone. I normally just use the lighter brown when I’m going light on my makeup and I use both when I’m wearing a lot more makeup. Great buy!
NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder Sunny $2.99 on newyorkcolor.com (also available at walmart)
I love this bronzer. It has a matte finish and looks really great on the skin. Normally I would avoid NYC products because they have never seemed that great of quality to me, but this bronzer is amazing. Buy it!
Sonia Kashuk Loose Powder Colorless Matte $10.99 at Target (not positive on price, but it’s in that range)
I’m pretty new to loose powder and wanted to try this. It work pretty well but the packaging is terrible. It’s really hard to get the loose powder out of the container. I have to tap it on my counter three or four times before I get a good amount to come out. Sonia Kashuk apparently has another loose powder in a different packaging, I would recommend that one instead.
Left to right: Revlon Colorstay: Combination/Oily Skin 250 Fresh Beige $9.98 at Walmart
This is the current foundation I am using. It covers really well and dries matte. My only complaint about it is that it is fragranced. Because I have sensitive skin, it makes my skin break out a little bit. Either that, or my face breaks out because I accidentally bought combination to oily when I have dry skin. Other than that it is great! Smash Box: Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Foundation Shade 2.1 $42.00
This is my all time favorite liquid foundation. It covers well, dries matte, and makes my skin feel great. The only reason I’m not using it now is because it is almost out so I only use it for special occasions. I would buy more, but as you can see it is very expensive and I just can’t afford it right now. Neutrogena: Healthy Skin Warm Beige $11.97 at Walmart
I bought this foundation after my Smash Box foundation started getting low. I read reviews online and it seemed like a lot of people liked it. Well, I absolutely hate it. It covers well, but it made my face sticky. Even after powdering, it was still bad. And if I were to sweat at all, the stickiness would get even worse and the makeup would start to run off my face. I assume it would work better with a primer underneath.
I used liquid eyeliner for the stitches. I mixed my regular foundation with white face paint for the base. I used eyeshadows from my BH Cosmetics 120 color palette (#2 I believe). Lips are just a cheap red lipstick (any will do).
